Settling In

Coming to Les Enfants

Currently, all Les Enfants nurseries have spaces available for all age groups, however during busy periods it is necessary for us to operate a waiting list system, where places are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.

If you are interested in attending any of our nurseries just give us a phone to arrange a viewing or request an information pack.

Alternatively, you are very welcome to drop in to any of our nurseries at any time, however please be aware that breakfast(8:00-9:00am), snack times(10:00am & 3:00pm) and lunch times (12:00-1:00pm) can be very busy times for us so are probably best avoided.

Equal Opportunities

At Les Enfants we actively support equal opportunities for each child regardless of gender, race, religion, special needs or social class. Prejudices will be challenged and discussed.  Children will be encouraged to help each other and respect other children's traditions and cultures. Multicultural activities will be integrated into various aspects of play.

Settling in Sessions

Before your child starts at the nursery for full sessions, we recommend that you bring them to the nursery they will be attending for an hour or so, spread over a few days. These periods will not only help your child to acclimatise themselves to the nursery, they will also allow you to see if our nursery is appropriate to your child.

Key Worker System

Upon enrolment in the nursery, your child will be allocated a member of staff to be their key carer.  The key carer will be your first point of contact within the nursery and they will listen to and discuss any queries which may arise. The Nursery   Manager will be available at any time should you wish to meet with her. You will receive a regular written report on your child's progress.  These reports will enable us to continue to meet the individual needs of your child. A daily report for babies and toddlers will be given to parents detailing foods eaten, naps, walks nappy changes etc.
